I'M COMPOSING MY VERY FIRST BLOG-POST!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know it's not important to some of you, if not, all of you, but it's important to me because I've never done a blog-post before and this is my first time doing this. I've read a bunch of blogs before, but Rebecca, my cousin from London, is the one who inspired me to start blogging. It was last summer, the last week of June 2011, when she came to visit me and my family in Sacramento and spent the entire week with us. During that week, Rebecca and I were having a conversation about various topics and she brought up this very topic: Blogging. She asked me if I've blogged before. I said no. That was when she was telling me about her travelling adventures and to help keep track of what happened during her trip around the world, she kept a journal. That was when she got her interest in blogging and she recommended me to follow her blog. That started my interest in blogging. I thought to myself, "if she can blog about anything on her mind, I can blog about anything on my mind as well!" And lo and behold, I've created my blog on that same month and year, June 2011, took a break for a half a year to focus on important things, such as school and volunteering in church, and now, here I am, composing my very first blog-post, right now, today, at this very moment! Isn't it this exciting?
About the title: So you really want to know how I come up with the title of my blog called "The Chronicles of Lennie"? Well, when I was in preschool and kindergarten, back in 1994 and 1995, I was nicknamed "Lennie." Both of my preschool and kindergarten teachers were calling me by that name and even my mother calls me by that name as well. It's been a very long time since I was being called by the name "Lennie." So I thought why not bring it back?
